Softalk Basic
Make voice and video calls directly from your personal computer with Packet8's powerful soft phone client to any other Packet8 Subscriber on the Packet8 Network. All that is required is a PC running Microsoft Windows with built-in or external speakers and a microphone or computer headset. Softalk currently works with Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP. This servic is free of charge, but must be used on a computer on the same home network as the voip device.
